WELCOME TO THE MOM HUDDLE!
Most recent blog post: WOMAN, MOTHER, POWERFUL WOMEN IN HISTORY
Motherhood is a crazy journey in self-doubt and uncertainty. As a result, I find myself wishing ON THE REGULAR for a non-existent manual. In spite of this, I am convinced we can all be our own version of successful in not only motherhood, but also life. Additionally, it's WAY MORE FUN to do this motherhood thing surrounded by a supportive team. No one is perfect. Therefore, let's embrace, laugh at, and ultimately enjoy the perfectly imperfect moments. Welcome to The Mom Huddle!
Subscribe to The Mom Huddle, where I will share stories of my journey thus far along with stories of fellow teammates. We, however, do not have all the answers and I'm definitely not an expert. In fact, I'm a mom who enjoys working outside the home. On the contrary, I go through periods of mom guilt because of it. I snuggle with my kids one minute and let a curse word fly when I shouldn't the next. Even so, I find I'm not alone in the crazy ups and downs.

One of my favorite quotes is from Rachel Hollis in her book Girl, Wash Your Face.
There isn’t one right way to be a woman. There isn’t one right way to be a daughter, friend, boss, wife, mother, or whatever else you categorize yourself as. Instead, there are so many different versions of each and every style on this planet, and beauty lives in that dichotomy.
Did this resonate with you, too? I love it and feel it's truth. Grace for ourselves coupled with grace for others, we really can live our own version of successful. In fact, let's not just survive this motherhood journey. On the other hand, let's thrive in The Mom Huddle together.
Thank you for joining me. My hope is this brings you laughter in the crazy, connection in the lonely, and joy in the inexplicable.

GOALS AFTER 40, REALLY?
MIDLIFE CRISIS Today I got on the elliptical and plugged in 4-1 for the last time as my age. Tomorrow marks the start of a new year on this planet for me. Another trip around the sun. I’m now approaching the “in my 40s” language, not the “I’m just 40 or 41.”...

INNER MEAN GIRL A portion of my job is to support people through mindset shifting. Admittedly, the irony is not lost on me that sometimes, I myself, need to simply LOOK IN A MIRROR and adopt this concept. Let’s talk about the things we say to ourselves. More...
